Optional cookies are off until you switch them on, and leaving them off does not stop anything on this site from working. To change a choice later, open the preferences from the banner or clear this site's data in your browser.
The two that are always on
Functionality storage remembers your answer to the cookie banner so you are not asked again on every page. Security storage helps the enquiry form reject automated spam. Neither holds your name, your email address or anything you write in the form.
Analytics storage
If you allow it, analytics tells us which pages are read and in what order — for example, how many visitors look at the floor schedule board before opening the floor and carpet treatment page. We use the totals to decide what needs explaining better. We never look at one visitor's path on its own.
Advertising storage and user data
These only matter if we run an advertisement for our office cleaning in Tokyo. They would record that a visit came from that advertisement, so we can judge whether it was worth running. They are off by default, and nothing they record is sold or passed to other advertisers.
Personalisation storage
This site shows the same pages to everyone, so personalisation storage currently does nothing. It appears in the panel because the consent tool lists it; switching it on or off makes no difference.
Why this site sets so little
We are a cleaning company, not an online shop. Most people who find us are office or facilities managers checking whether we cover their building and what a visit includes. Everything they need is on the page, so the site has no logins, baskets or tracking to maintain.
Other companies' cookies
No videos, maps or social media buttons are embedded here, so no other company sets cookies through our pages. If that changes — for instance if we add a map to the contact page — this policy will be updated first.
How long choices last
Your choices are kept for twelve months, then the banner asks again. If you use a shared reception computer, clearing the browser at the end of the day also clears your choice. If you spot a cookie from this site that is not described here, tell us at info@larkcypress.com and we will correct this page.
Checking what is stored
Most browsers let you see exactly what a site has stored: open the site settings next to the address bar and look for cookies or site data. On this site you should find only the consent choice and the security item unless you have allowed anything else. If you find more, please let us know.
Changes to this policy
If we add a new service to the site that needs another cookie — an online booking calendar for floor treatments, for example — the new item will be described here before it goes live, and the banner will ask again rather than assume your earlier answer covers it.
A short summary
Two items are always on and hold nothing personal. Everything else is off until you choose otherwise, and the site works the same either way. Your choice lasts twelve months. Cookies and our cleaning contracts
No cookie on this site is linked to a cleaning contract, a building or a member of our staff. Visiting the site from your office does not tell us which office you are in.
Where to find the controls
The cookie banner appears at the bottom of the screen on your first visit. Choosing Manage opens a panel listing each category with its own switch; the required items are shown switched on and cannot be turned off.
